Regarding bid item # 610-220-100 Mulch, It is not included in the Seeding Special Provisions or in the Plans . Is it safe to assume it is going on the area 2 bank under the erosion control blanket at an application rate of 65 CY/AC?

Sheet 13 Topsoil and Seeding Summary Frame has been revised and is hereby replaced in the contract REVISED SHEET 13. An addendum will be issued to delete the MULCH bid item and increase the quantity of EROSION CONTROL BLANKET-LONG TERM by 2,420.00 SQYD (3,585.00 SQYD Total).

It appears that the legend on sheets 42 and 43 have the labeling for longitudinal and transverse joints mixed up. Please clarify.

Item Number 609 010 200 CURB AND GUTTER-CONC: Some of the curb and gutter is accounted for in the summary and part of the PCCP. It is identified as standard curb and gutter in the geometric layout(sheet 34): How is the curb related to the PCCP to be paid? Is the curb and gutter to 9" in relation to the PCCP, as it has been in past projects? Item Number 501 010 125 PORT CEM CONC PAVE 9 IN, Sheets 42 and 43: On each leg of the roundabout, there is a longitudinal contraction joint that appears to be in conflict with the curb and gutter:(1.5 feet apart) Is there reinforcement in the curb and gutter joint? If so, would the longitudinal contraction joints nearest to the curb and gutter be necessary?

The curb and gutter within the PCCP footprint is 9" thick curb and gutter integral to the PCCP and included in the area quantity for the PCCP bid item. The concrete curb and gutter quantity shown in the curb summary frame on Sheet 14 incorrectly included the integral curb. The correct quantity for concrete curb and gutter is 2,293.7 linear feet. (revised summary frame sheet is attached). An addenda #2 will be issued for this change. REVISED PLAN SHEET 14
The curb and gutter joint is reinforced with #5 x 24" long epoxy coated deformed tie bars spaced at 30" centers. The additional longitudinal contraction joint conflicts with the curb joint and has been removed in the revised joint layout details provided in question #2.

Please provide Method of Measurement and Basis of Payment for the rigid steel conduit required at pull boxes and foundations per SP #34, including the spare conduit sweeps listed in Note 4 on Sheet E-6

Include the steel conduit in the cost of the pull box and foundation concrete bid items.
