The details on plan page S1 do not match the information provided in Special Provision #20.  The drawing shows the delineator posts to be installed backwards vs 619-36, has a different size panel, and includes a button on top of the panel vs the panel being placed 1" from the top of the U Channel post.  Which panel is to be used?  Additionally, the plan page says to supply posts long enough to maintain proper mounting height and embedment but gives a clearance range of 2' to 6'.  The MDOT will have to provide what clearance is to be used for the contractor to bid the proper post lengths.  Moving from 2ft to 6ft could change the required posts substantially.

Install the delineation according to Special Provision #20 PANEL DELINEATORS [STPS 236-1(18)12].  Plan Sheet S1 is hereby rescinded.
