2. As there are no "caulks" on the QPL, would a polyurethane tint able sealant be acceptable? "Furnish Type II cork preformed expansion joint filler meeting AASHTO M213 requirements."
3. Would fiber expansion joint material that meets AASHTO M213 be acceptable? (fiber is used in most cases.. sidewalk, curb and gutter) "cure with a colored wax curing membrane"
4. Wax cure is "white pigmented type 2" and is not able to be colored. Would a non-wax cure and seal that is "tint able" be acceptable?

On the summary sheet on page 8 the surfacing does not show asphalt replacement for storm drain trenching 104+86 to 113+63. But shows asphalt replacement for storm drain trenching 161+17 to 167+36. Is this an error on the plan sheet? How thick is the existing asphalt to be removed?
Answer
Submitted: Monday 11-JUN-2018 010:22 AM
The storm drain trenching 104+86 to 113+63 and the digout removal (104+86 to 114+92.50) one line up in the summary frame occur in the same place. Storm drain being in the median and the digout being the replacement of the full width of the median. PMS for the storm drain trenching in this area is included in the quantity for the digout PMS. PMS for storm drain trenching 161+17 to 167+36 is included with the storm drain trenching.
Asbuilt PMS shows a thickness 0.2' to be replaced with 0.4' after the digout.

This is a complicated job to have lump sum traffic control. Could traffic control be changed to by the unit? Is there a traffic control plan as to how you would like to handle the traffic?

Traffic Control Lump Sum will be changed by addenda to Traffic Control Devices CB (Unit) by addenda. The Traffic Control is to be performed as described by Section 618 of the Specifications Book and the Detailed Drawings.
