With the anticipated award date being July 24, 2018 getting a gravel pit permitted and Plant Mix Design in place prior to November may be difficult. Would MDT please consider changing to a flex time notice to proceed with an effective date of April 15, 2019?

The contractor is responsible for all Contractor Survey and Layout as outlined in Standard Specification 105.08.2 CONTRACTOR SURVEY AND LAYOUT. There will be no Department staking.

The Additional Surfacing Summary Frame shows 130 tons of Plant Mix for leveling. Is this leveling quantity for the Scale Site or for the entire mainline?
