Place classes Deck and Overlay-SF concrete with a temperature between 50 and 80 °F (10 and 26 °C). Place all other classes of concrete with a temperature between 50 and 85 °F (10 and 29 °C).

For some reason the grading & sub-excavation on this project is and is intended to be bid as "incidental" to other items. Leaving the excavation as incidental will skew the unit pricing of other items and will complicate any potential changes. Will MDT add a bid item for excavation?

All excavation is incidental to the Non-Frost Susceptible Backfill bid item and will not be measured separately. An excavation bid item will not be added.

With the Sub Ex, Backfill, Gravel, Paving and Guardrail operations needing to take place with the two phase construction of the bridge deck the 60 working days seems insufficient. Would MDT please add additional 20 Working Days?
