Place classes Deck and Overlay-SF concrete with a temperature between 50 and 80 °F (10 and 26 °C). Place all other classes of concrete with a temperature between 50 and 85 °F (10 and 29 °C).

For the I-15 Bridges (RP 234-248) project the Crossover detail on sheet 8 has been revised to show 1 crossover (depressed) at RP 234.6 and 3 locations (RP’s 236.8, 246.0 & 247.1) for barrier crossovers.
The details for the drop inlet and cross drain at RP 234.6 and not required for re-opening and have been removed. The updated Crossover Detail can be found at the following link: REVISED PLANS SHEET 8

Special provision 27 Section A states "Haul and windrow or stockpile the excess cold millings to the locations designated below." Section B states "The cold millings will remain the property of the contractor." If they are not to remain the property of the contractor, please provide stockpile locations for the excess cold millings.

Special Provision #27 – Disposal of Cold Millings – is hereby replaced with the following:
DISPOSAL OF COLD MILLINGS
A. Description. Prior to placing the bituminous surfacing, remove the existing bituminous surfacing from the roadways as shown on the plans, these special provisions and in accordance with Section 411 of the Standard Specifications.
B. Construction Requirements. Expect to produce approximately 723 cubic yards of cold millings. Cubic yard quantities shown for cold millings are based on in place compacted volumes before milling. The cold millings will remain the property of the Contractor.
C. Method of Measurement and Basis of Payment. Cold milling will be measured and paid for by the square yard at the specified depth. Areas requiring tapers or areas relatively close in depth shall be paid as an average depth as shown on the plans. No additional measurement or payment will be considered for reprocessing hauling, windrowing, transferring, or stockpiling of the excess cold milled material.
