1)  Have all underground and overhead utilities been moved to outside the cut and fill areas?
2)  Is item # 402 020 315 Emulsified Asphalt used for paving tack coat, or Cover coat fog seal?

1)  The utilities shown in the plans were surveyed based on locations provided through the One Call utility locate request initiated by the MDT.  The utilities shown in the plans are not in conflict with the work, therefore, no utility moves were required.  The contractor is still responsible for having utility locates completed prior to beginning excavation activities.  
2)  Item # 402 020 315 Emulsified Asphalt is used for the paving tack coat only (see page 6 of the plans). The item # 402 020 375 Emulsified Asphalt CHFRS-2P is the seal oil for the seal and cover operation. There will not be a fog seal on this project.
