Are the soil borings for this project available? We would like to verify that the standard depths for the anchors and line post footings are adequate.

Special provision 17 references two bid items that are not included in the package. They are Misc Items-Repair and Misc Items-LS. Both need to be added for the items of work discussed.
SP 17 requires the contractor to submit the concrete requirements from the manufacturer. Accordingly, does the contractor not need to use a MDT class of concrete such as general?
Will testing be performed by the MDT on the concrete? If so, will it only apply to the specific requirements of the concrete specs given by the cable rail manufacturer. (I.e., if 3000 psi is required and no other specs are given, that is all that must be called out for the concrete and that is the only testing that will be done?)

Bid items Misc Items-Repair and Misc Items-LS will be added by addendum.
Provide Concrete - Class General for terminal foundations and line posts.
MDT will perform the required quality assurance tests. Meet all requirements of Class General for the concrete.
