Contact: Marc Blanden Special Provision 26 - Part D. states "Include cost of temporary traffic signalization in the traffic Control LS bid item." There is not a lump sum traffic control item to include these cost in. Is flagging of the intersection acceptable if the signals are changed from the old configuration to the new configuration in a 24 hour time frame? Submitted: Monday 3-AUG-2015 1:39 PM The last sentence of Special Provision 26 is hereby amended to read "The temporary traffic signals will be paid under the bid item Traffic Control Devices - CB as a Group 37 device." Flaggers will not be allowed as a substitute for the required temporary traffic signals. |
